aRE COURSES MIXED Girls & Boys?

Some YFD courses involving groups aged 13 and under are open to mixed genders. Girls on these courses have a great time, so please do not be nervous.

However, we are in the process of created Girls only courses to help encourage more girls to play.

1-2-1 sessions are not gender or age specific and are open to all.

CAN PARENTS WATCH THE PLAYERS DURING PRACTICE?

Yes, parents are welcome to watch the players during football practice.

As you follow your player's progress and development, we encourage you to ask questions and learn more about the game.​

CAN I REGISTER TWO PLAYERS AT THE SAME TIME?

 

Unfortunately, you must register each player separately. Our registration system automatically keeps track of a registered player and what event he/she is registered for. The system is not able to determine the events of multiple players when registered at the same time.

CAN I WRITE A CHEQUE WHEN REGISTERING?

Unfortunately we only accept payments through bank transfer and our website. ​

If you would like to discuss payment plans please contact us via the 'contact us' page. We will register your player manually. Please note, your player will not be registered unless payment is received in 5 days or less. At that time your player will not have a spot in the Event of your choice.

WHAT KIT DO I NEED?

 

​Usual football kit should be brought with player,  Kit can include t-shirts or football shirts, shorts, socks, boots, trainers, shin pads and a drinks bottle.  Moulded studs are probably more suitable for our summer time courses.

Sessions are played throughout the year in various weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the weather on that day.

​

Please ensure that all belongings are named including boots and shin pads as many clients will possess the same replica shirts and boots and this will help if they get lost.

Ensuring all your kit and belongings are safe are your responsibility and not that of YFD.

ARE THE STAFF QUALIFIED?

​​

YFD staff are qualified FA/UEFA football coaches. All staff are DBS checked and first aid qualified and hold both safeguarding qualifications and DBS checked and are safeguarding trained.  All coaches have emergency First Aid Certification.

HOW ARE THE CHILDREN DIVIDED FOR COACHING?

We understand that not all children of the same age play at the same level or are the same ability. Football sessions are divided by the following age groups: 10-14 14-16 and 16+.

We do our best to ensure that if your child needs to be in a higher group that they are moved up. This will always depend on the mix of players and their ages that attend our camp on the given week.

 

We cannot ensure the ages of players who book onto our camp, therefore, our grouping must always be flexible.

MY CHILD IS CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR FOOTBALL ABILITY, WOULD THEY BE OK ON THE COURSE?

Yes, we have various abilities attending and we cater for every level from beginners to academy players. As long as the player is prepared to be active and outdoors in many types of weather, they will be fine.

CAN I LEAVE STRAIGHT AFTER DROPPING MY CHILD?

​​

Yes absolutely, once we have registered them you are free to go and enjoy your day and come back at the time of pick up.

Can I get a refund after purchasing a session, course or product?

​

Younique Football Development (YFD) has a NO REFUND policy. All sales are final. There are no refunds for services or products provided by YFD.

Recurring Membership/ Event Registration fees:

Membership and Event Registration fees are non-refundable. For cancelled membership which are being paid for on a monthly basis, billing will stop 48 hours after cancellation.
